What is Spitfire Girl?
Spitfire Girl is a Los Angeles design shop founded in 2001 by artist Kristin Scott. We make intention-based perfume (The Potion Collection), original ceramics, candles, accessories and gifts, sold at our Los Feliz store and online at spitfiregirl.com.
Where is the Spitfire Girl store?
Our store is at 1939 1/2 Hillhurst Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027, in Los Feliz. Street parking is available nearby.
What is The Potion Collection?
The Potion Collection is our line of intention-based eaux de parfum. Each scent is built around an intention, such as Fortune for abundance, Love for connection and Protection for grounding. Every Potion is hand-poured in Los Angeles, vegan and cruelty-free.
What sizes do Potion perfumes come in?
Each Potion comes as a 50 ml eau de parfum ($82) and most come as a 10 ml travel spray ($39). You can also try 2 ml spray samples ($7) or The Potion Collection Discovery Kit ($49).
How long does a Potion perfume last?
Potions are eaux de parfum, so they typically last 6 to 8 hours on skin. Wear time varies with your skin and the weather.
Are your fragrances vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. All Spitfire Girl fragrances and candles are vegan and cruelty-free, made with premium ingredients from around the world and hand-poured in Los Angeles.
Can I return a fragrance?
No. Because fragrance is personal and cannot be resold once opened, all fragrance sales are final. We recommend starting with 2 ml samples or the Discovery Kit to find your scent before buying a full bottle.
What is your return policy?
Unused, unworn items in their original condition and packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund. You pay return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or we made an error, and original shipping charges are non-refundable. Returns ship to Spitfire Girl, 2316 E. 38th Street, Vernon, CA 90058.
Can I exchange an item?
Yes. Return the item in sellable condition to 2316 E. 38th Street, Vernon, CA 90058. We ship your exchange item back to you for a $10 flat rate.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Email us at info@spitfiregirl.com within 5 days of delivery with photos of the item and the shipping box. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
All U.S. orders ship for a $10 flat rate. Orders are processed in 4 to 6 business days and shipped from Los Angeles; delivery usually takes 5 to 7 business days after shipment. During extreme heat, candles and fragrances ship Monday and Tuesday only.
Do you ship internationally?
No. We currently ship within the United States only.
Are your ceramics original designs?
Many are. Our ceramic trinket trays, including the eye, lips, sun-face and leopard designs, are original Spitfire Girl designs. We also carry pieces from independent makers we love.
